High on quirky, cheeky fun, but low on real drama. More Buffy than Underworld. Enough action and special effects to keep you perking.
good series, couldn't stop watching it. However, this is NOT for kids. lots of nudity and sex scenes. Jason Stackhouse is HOTT!! when does Season 2 come out?
This is my new favorite series. It is incredibly addicting!
great show puts a new twist on vampier movies
One of the best HBO series I've seen, along with Everybody Loves Raymond and Dexter.
Very entertaining show. I love the True Blood books too.
If you're into this sort of thing, check out the books by Charlaine Harris, Jim Butcher, Lynsay Sands or Kerrelyn Sparks too.
If you're under 16, I suggest you watch Twilight and New Moon instead. Come back to this show when you're a bit older.
A different take on vampires in society.
Surprisingly, I didn't mind this sexy vampire series - as this is definitely not the genre aimed at my demographic (that demographic being a slightly older, male bunny with anarchist leanings). Not the best HBO series I've seen but it did exceed expectations.
